Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover

The Surface Pro Type Cover is a detachable keyboard accessory designed for the Surface Pro line of 2-in-1 devices. It attaches magnetically to the bottom edge of the Surface Pro, transforming the device from tablet mode into a full laptop-style workstation. When folded back, the Type Cover doubles as a protective cover for the screen and puts the Surface to sleep. The typing experience aims to be laptop-class — with well-spaced keys, backlighting for low-light use, and an integrated large trackpad for precise navigation. In many models, it also supports Windows shortcut keys, media controls, brightness keys and more. The keyboard cover is lightweight and slim (often under ~0.5 cm thick) and is meant to complement the Surface’s kickstand so you can work at various viewing angles.
